This version was developed to facilitate designing, cost estimation, fabrication and assembly of sliding door wardrobes and cabinets. Therefore it is targeted mainly at firms operating in this business segment, supporting professional and convenient service to the end user. It is intended mainly for all kind of points of sale that contact the end user face to face, but it is also necessary e.g. on the fitter’s laptop or on the workstations at the headquarters or in production (ensuring automatic export of pre-cut board data to cut optimising applications).
The purpose of the application is to accelerate the wardrobe design process as far as possible, by providing a simple and intuitive user interface which gives the designer a great deal of flexibility in selecting interior components and dimensions, and the possibility of immediate visualisation of the design being created in a full 3D environment, which means viewing the wardrobe at any angle and with any image scale. The 3D environment offers the possibility to view colour combinations, wood texture of selected materials, and ensures interactivity (you can slide the doors of your virtual wardrobe, see how drawers and hampers slide out and in). Those options allow the designer to make a quick visual check of the design and also enable the end user to see the wardrobe ordered before it is fabricated and assembled.
Having first become familiar with the capabilities of the application, the designer can easily place all necessary components on the monitor screen. What greatly facilitates the design process is that global settings can be selected for components such as inserts, door systems or material allowances. Owing to this, a custom wardrobe can be designed which will exactly meet the customer’s requirements. Depending on the fabrication system, default designs can also be defined to adhere to design principles matching the production methodology adopted by your firm. Additional components, such as magnetic latches, can also be added to the design any time. At the design stage, you can estimate the cost of your design whenever you wish, taking into account even the smallest details, and preview or print a complete report with dimensions of all components or a ready order form. It takes just a few steps to estimate the cost of different options of a design with the use of different materials or with some components added. The application also features extensive configuration capabilities which allow the settings to be adjusted to the needs of your firm down to the minute detail. In the case of product range changes, entering new data in the database is no problem at all. The administrator has full control of the application, which includes granting rights of access to different components of the application as well as changes to the current settings related e.g. to modifications in cost estimating or defining new door systems, insert materials, material groups, redesigning the material cost estimating system, etc. Another major feature is the possibility to export production data from the design to applications such as: Cut Optimiser (Nowy Rozkroj), CutRite, HHOS, and formats such as Microsoft Excel, HTML and CSV. Owing to those solutions, information can be transferred from designers to producers in a seamless and trouble-free manner
